The Government of Antioquia confirmed that there are already three men captured in the department for the crime of violence against women. These people are part of the most wanted cartel.

The most recent capture, which occurred in the municipality of Gómez Plata, corresponds to Arbonis Hernán Soto, 23 years old, another of the most wanted men in the department for violence against women.

This case is added to the two recent ones captured in Remedios and Córdoba, which were also part of this cartel.

“Thanks to that arrest warrant, the first arrest was made in the municipalities of Los Córdobas, which is on the borders of Antioquia and Córdoba, next to Arboletes, and another was surrendered in the municipality of Remedios,” reported Governor Andrés Julián Rendón.

This poster was presented by the governor of Antioquia last week and there are 18 men accused of committing crimes against women in different municipalities of the department, including sexual abuse and feminicide.

“We are not going to allow the mistreatment of our boys, our girls, our women because they are part of our sacred population group that is the focus of attention of this departmental government,” said Rendón.

It is important to note that the Government of Antioquia offers up to 50 million pesos as a reward for information that allows the capture of these alleged attackers of women. Now, there remain 15 names that authorities continue to search for.
