This Thursday, May 2, the exhibition “Tierra Móvil, Jungle in Conflict” by artist Óscar Villalobos opens at the Museum of Modern Art of Bucaramanga.

This exhibition promises to immerse viewers in an emotional and reflective journey through works such as installation, painting and sculpture. Each one serves as a mirror that reflects the complexities and challenges of contemporary Colombian society.

Óscar Villalobos, author of “Tierra Móvil, Selva en Conflicto”, explains that with this exhibition he aims to show how Colombia deals with violent challenges and territorial control, highlighting nature as a victim of the conflict.

“It is a reflection of what happens in the territories and how Colombia has been presenting problems of violence and others, due to territorial control and who exercises that control at a certain time over each territory. It is a reflection on the conflict in the territory, on how nature has not only been the scene of the conflict, but today many crimes are also being committed against it.”

The inauguration is this Thursday, May 2, at 7:00 pm, at the MAMB, located at 37 #26-16 street, Bolívar neighborhood. Entrance is free and open.
