Route 25 unites communities in a recreational day

On a day full of joy and fun, Route 25 stood as the bridge that united the children’s communities of Villa Rica. From the towns of Juan Ignacio, Chalo, Cantarito, Agua Azul and Primavera, boys and girls boarded the fun bus, thus joining the great celebration of childhood that toured every corner of the municipality.

The initiative, framed within the Compass 2024, brought magic to every corner, turning the day into a festival of laughter and learning. After exploring the rural area, Route 25 made its stop at the emblematic Félix Ángel Colorado park. Here, the little ones joined the five stations prepared for them, where they could express themselves through art, dance and healthy eating.

Painting on canvases that reflected their joy and enthusiasm, the children showed their creativity and team spirit. In addition, they enjoyed water games, face painting and delicious fruit skewers, thus awakening all their senses on a memorable day.

The night arrived, and with it, the time to share on the main stage. A puppet show, presentations by artistic groups and the climax of the day: a foam cannon that unleashed laughter and emotions among children and adults. The mayor, María Edis Dinas, extended her gratitude to all the families who joined this event, as well as to the municipal officials who ensured the well-being of the children.

Villa Rica breathes life with the planting of 200 trees

Within the framework of National Tree Day, Villa Rica renewed its commitment to nature by planting 200 trees on the road that leads to Chorro. The event, led by the Empuvilla Public Services Company in collaboration with various institutions, seeks to strengthen the green lung of the municipality and promote environmental awareness among its inhabitants.

The event had the active participation of National Army, teachers of the Family Welfare program, the Llanos de Terronal El Chorro Community Council and the National Police, who joined forces to make this initiative possible. The mayor, María Edis Dinas, urged citizens to continue sowing life, emphasizing the importance of preserving the natural environment to guarantee a sustainable future for future generations.
