The Paraguayan player arrived at Club Talleres in September of last year on loan with an option to buy, from the Rio de Janeiro team.

Matías Galarza, who began his career as a professional player in Olimpia in Paraguay and then played in Coritiba, played 20 games with the Talleres shirt, scoring 2 goals and being the protagonist with an assist.

As a Matador player, Galarza received calls to be part of the Paraguayan Senior National Team. With the Albirroja, between friendlies and South American qualifiers, he added minutes in four games and was a member of the substitutes’ bench in another seven games.

Furthermore, since his beginnings in the Paraguayan Dean team, Galarza joined several delegations of Paraguayan youth teams. In 2019, he was the protagonist of the South American Under 17 team and in 2022 he already had his first call-up for the Paraguayan senior national team.

The young 22-year-old player arrived at Talleres in mid-September of last year through the work carried out by the scouting and scouting area.
