The Coria City Council has inaugurated the new library facilities located in the San José Obrero preschool and primary school, in Rincón del Obispo, a district of Cauri. A premiere that was attended by the mayor, Almudena Domingo, and that took place coinciding with the celebration of Book Day. The remodeling carried out has allowed this space to be provided with a new area that has been presented with the name ‘The Pulpilector’s Refuge’, located in the educational center’s library.

The remodeling has been possible thanks to the collaboration of Juan José Gutiérrez Pascual, father of students at the center, who with his “extraordinary creativity and skill,” the center explains, has built a tree located in the library, which “not only beautifies space, but also symbolizes the growth and life that each book brings to our minds and hearts,” they said.

At the presentation of the remodeled library, the center’s director, María del Amor Mora, highlighted that ‘The Pulpilector Shelter’, “is not just a name, it is a symbol of our commitment to reading and learning. The library is a space where our imagination can fly free, where words come to life and where each book we open takes us to new adventures. She further added that “we not only celebrate the opening of a renewed space, but the rebirth of a home for curiosity and knowledge,” she noted.

Likewise, the director of the Rincón center wanted to take the opportunity to also thank the families and the mayor for attending the opening of this new space in the school library. Finally, the city council highlighted that work continues to support culture and education with various actions and activities mainly for children both in Coria and in its two districts.
