The final match of the 2024 Provincial Soccer Tournament will be this Saturday on the Club Sportivo Saujil field, in Pomán.
The decision was made last Tuesday after a meeting of the Catamarca Football Federation, where they agreed on the place where the match between San Lorenzo de Huachaschi and Defensores del Norte will be played.
In these meetings, the time in which said defining match will be played was also defined: it will be from 4:00 p.m.
The municipality of Saujil, headed by Enzo Carrizo, will collaborate to hold this sporting event, which is expected to have a significant turnout of fans and sympathizers.
In this sense, the municipality of Saujil communicated through its social networks that “moments ago it was confirmed that the final of the provincial soccer tournament between San Lorenzo de Huachaschi and Defensores del Norte will be played on the field of the Sportivo Saujil club. Moments ago, a meeting between Mayor Dr. Enzo Carrizo and the current president of the Departmental League, Prof. Roberto Ogas, ended, where the municipality made itself available so that the ‘Pedro Rosales’ is in condition for this important event.”

It is worth remembering that the previous Provincial tournament was won by Coronel Daza, almost a year ago, when he faced Villa Dolores.
On that occasion, the final match was played at the Bicentenario Stadium.
That match ended 2-0, with goals from Facundo Villafañe Luján.
