In order to achieve for his municipality the allocation of resources that will allow the construction of the municipal aqueduct infrastructure in addition to the implementation of works for the WWTP Wastewater Treatment Plant, the mayor of Acevedo announced a trip to the capital of the country.

After in previous weeks he made contact with senior officials of the National Government to whom he raised the need to finance works to optimize the municipal aqueduct and the WWTP Wastewater Treatment Plant, he will finally meet with the Vice Minister of Water and Basic Sanitation Aníbal Perez Garcia.

Due to the absence, through Decree 090 of 2024, the Aceveduno president appointed the secretary of planning and infrastructure Adrián Eliberto Gómez Martínez as mayor in charge, who will perform his duties on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3.

It is expected that upon his return from the country’s capital, Mayor Edgar Prada Sterling will return with good news for his municipality.
