One of the bonuses that residents of the Aysen region is he Firewood Bonus. This benefit allows the population access a bonus of $100 thousand pesos which allows them to alleviate heating costs during the winter season.

Former Bono Leña is available for the most vulnerable sector of the population from the eleventh region and should not be applied for, since those who meet the requirements automatically receive it.

Is the Firewood Bonus payment now available?

The last friday On April 26, the Heating Subsidy began to be paid or former Bono Leña. If you chose payment through bank deposit you should have already received the amount in your RUT Account or the account you have available.

On the other hand, if you chose the in-person payment, payment date changes and the dates will depend on the letter of your last name. Check below the payment dates by initial letter of the first last name:

Who receives the Firewood Bonus?

To receive the Heating Subsidy It is not necessary to apply, but you do have to meet certain requirements to qualify, the main one being a family from the Aysén Region and that belongs to 80% of the Social Household Registry. With these two requirements met, payment is made according to priority depending on the following criteria:

  • Participate in the Security and Opportunities Subsystem.
  • Participate in the program National Support and Care System.
  • Homes that have at least a person in a situation of moderate or severe dependence.
  • Homes that have some boy, girl or teenager.
  • Households that have at least one elderly person.
  • Homes that have women heads of household.
