The mayor of Córdoba, Daniel Passerini, anticipated that eight zero kilometer collective buses from the Coniferal company will be added, which from 0 this Friday will provide service on line 43. Meanwhile, next week 45 more cars will be added to recover frequencies and line 45 will also be transferred.
“The 43rd joins Coniferal with 8 new cars. We will be able to reinforce the other lines that do not have adequate services, which was felt a lot until last week. We will have two lines starting tomorrow covered with new cars,” said the mayor in a note with Radio Miter Córdoba.
The Municipality confirmed that from 0 this Friday, the provision of line 43 will be borne by Coniferal.
In turn, Passerini spoke of the intention to integrate services with interurban buses, especially those that make routes in Greater Córdoba. “The groups that come from Villa Allende, Saldán, Malvinas, what we have to do is integrate them. Today we have a metropolitan entity that is working very well,” he considered. This is in line with the Province’s intention to restructure the entire interurban system, avoiding the duplication of routes and unproductive kilometers.
Passerini repeated that they will continue to discuss national subsidies, which the Government of Javier Milei withdrew completely. “We told the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, that we know that they will not continue giving us subsidies, but the municipalities are the first lines of tension. The Nation eliminated funds that came to the province. Co-participation fell in an incredible way. We ask for a meeting, we hope you listen to us,” he noted.
