What happened?
A fire occurred early this Thursday in two homes in the city of Valparaíso, ended the life of an elderly woman who had reduced mobility.
As the hours passed, it was confirmed that the victim corresponds to the mother of Francisco Silvaone of those convicted of the murder of Professor Nibaldo Villegas, an event that occurred in August 2018.

Fire affected two homes
The third commander of the Valparaíso Fire Department, Francisco Arevalo Arevaloreported that at 01:54 a.m. they were alerted of an accident on Los Copihues Street, in Playa Ancha.
Upon arriving at the scene, they confirmed that two homes were being consumed by the flames. One of them was “partially damaged, affecting a second home on the second floor.”
Five companies worked on the emergency, which was brought under control after a few hours. After that, firefighters were able to access the property.
Francisco Silva’s mother had reduced mobility
Inside one of the affected houses, “we found the death of a female person around 68 years old,” reported Commander Arévalo.
The woman, who had reduced mobility and lived semi-prostrate, was the mother of Francisco Silva, who is currently serving a sentence of simple perpetual imprisonment for the crime of Nibaldo Villegas.
The records were delivered to the Public Ministry, which instructed the Homicide Brigade (BH) of the Investigative Police (PDI) to carry out the investigation into the case.
