Governor Rogelio Frigerio received representatives of the Association of Clinics and Sanatoriums of Entre Ríos (Acler) and agreed to analyze what was proposed by the entity regarding energy and tax matters that affect the sanatoriums in the province.

In this regard, the president of Acler, Silvia D’Agostino, stated that, together with the board of directors, they raised “different problems that afflict all the sanatoriums in the province.” The Minister of Health Guillermo Grieve also participated in the meeting.

D’Agostino indicated that one of the problems has to do with the fact that “on December 31, with the emergency, the energy subsidy fell; and this is essential for sanatoriums and clinics to function.” In this context, he explained that in clinics and sanatoriums “neither the lights, nor the equipment, nor anything can be turned off at a certain time.” “That is essential for us,” he said.

“We were also raising other issues that we had already anticipated to the Minister of Economy regarding the remaining balances of gross income, so that they can be used and streamline the operation of all the sanatoriums,” he assured.

That said, D’Agostino said that “the governor took note of everything and said that we have left him a lot of work to do.” “The truth is that it is a great joy because, after eight years, we have been received by the governor of the province. It is a great merit that he has attended to us,” he concluded.
