Next Tuesday, May 7, the VIII Meeting of Solidarity Countries is scheduled at the Los Tajibos Hotel. The objective of this activity is to raise funds to fight cancer.

What is this meeting of solidarity countries united against cancer about?

There are a total of 28 participating countrieswith 40 restaurants that will offer tastings, some 80 stations with the best of their cultural identity and flavor, as well as 120 artists including musicians and dancers.

What is the objective of this meeting?

According to the organization, with the financial proceeds from this event, the Cruceña Legion to Combat Cancer will buy medications to deliver them free of charge to cancer patients (children and adults) admitted to the Oncological Institute of Eastern Bolivia who are not covered by Insurance. Universal Health (SUS).

In addition, to continue supporting the “Cardenal Julio Terrazas” Shelter so that cancer patients and their families receive lodging and food during treatment.

They also aim to cover the payment of professionals in the areas of pediatrics, pain unit, hemodialysis and chemotherapy so as not to interrupt the support that these areas provide to patients, due to lack of items for professionals.

But that’s not all, becauseAmong the most ambitious and necessary objectives is also the construction of the bone marrow transplant unit.

How to help in this fight against cancer?

To support the VIII Meeting of Solidarity Countries and make it a success, the organizers ask for a collaboration of Bs 100 to enter the event.
