Ahittana, a 16-month-old Cuban girl living in Pinar del Río, woke up after spending 22 days in a state of unconsciousness. Her mother, Marielys Perezshared the emotional news on social networks.

“Dear daughter, it was 22 long days waiting for your eyes to open again. My tears falling into your hands while I asked God to wake you up from that deep sleep,” Marielys expressed in her Facebook post.
