The president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, assured this Friday that the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place in the Seine, the Yahoo site reported.

The president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, in an interview with the El Món space to RAC1, seemed calm and stated that he fully trusts the French authorities.

«Preparations for Paris 2024 are going well. “We are doing a good job in all aspects,” said the German.

Bach has cleared up doubts about the inauguration ceremony by reaffirming that “it will be in the Seine, the decision is clear. We are receiving regular reports on the situation and we trust the French authorities. They take all scenarios into account and update us day by day. Unfortunately, we are at a time when any large event must take into account the security problems of the area, but we are very confident that it will be a unique experience,” he explained.

The IOC president could not give more details about the security of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but assured that they will arrive at the venue with great confidence.

One of the novelties that the Paris Olympic event will present is the use of Artificial Intelligence. Thomas Bach, in his speech, gave some details about it.

«We will use Artificial Intelligence in the transmission offer to make it more individualized. Each one will have their own summary, their best moments, among other things,” he commented.

«Our efforts go beyond games. AI will change our lives and sports. “We want to be part of this change and not just be the object of the change,” he added.
