After several months of works that benefit the circulation and safety of pedestrians, Santa Fe Street was opened in the section between Laprida and Alameda de la Federación streets.
The work on this artery, which had begun in 2023 with provincial funds, was resumed by the municipality in mid-February of this year with its own resources. The work focused on improving the conditions of a highly traveled street.
After several months of intense work, Santa Fe Street is now open to traffic again. The tasks carried out included repairs to the sidewalks, placement of drains and stormwater connections.
In addition, the construction of curbs was carried out in the Plaza Carbó sector, a storm drain was installed to connect it to the existing system and new ramps were demolished and built on the corner with Alameda de la Federación.
These improvements not only benefit vehicular circulation, but also contribute to pedestrian safety and stormwater drainage in the area.
