Adelmo Fornaciari, better known as Zuccheroexponent of Italian blues rock arrives in the country with a show on September 8 at the Gran Rex Theaterand tickets go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7 from 1 p.m., through TuEntrada.
In his presentation in the country, the musician – who sold more than 60 million records worldwide, including 8 million copies of the album “Oro, incenso & birra” alone; will review the great hits that are part of her repertoire, such as Diamante, Baila, Senza una donna, Così Celeste, Cuba Libre, among others.
At the end of last year he performed a series of shows in the United States with Andrea Bocelli. and this year will release a new version of “Senza Una Donna (Without A Woman)” with Jack Savoretti and will return to the live stage with his “Overdose D’Amore World Wild Tour”which starts with three dates at the Royal in London and will also have stops in Uruguay, Chile, Mexico, among other countries.
He was the first Western artist to performed in the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the only Italian artist to participate in the Woodstock Festival in 1994, as well as at the Nelson Mandela events, of which he is an Ambassador, and the Freddie Mercury Tribute in 1992.
That same year, together with Luciano Pavarotti, he had the idea of the charity gala “Pavarotti & Friends”, the first edition of which was broadcast live around the world and paved the way for a series of annual benefit concerts that continued until 2003.
In 2007 it was Grammy Award nomineealong with Billy Preston and Eric Clapton, for best “Traditional R&B Vocal Collaboration.”
