Commitments of 545 Billion from the Government and the National Government for housing projects in Casanare.

During the recent visit of the Minister of Housing, Catalina Velasco, to the department of Casanare, housing, public services and basic sanitation projects were presented, in an effort to promote the transformation led by Governor César Ortiz Zorro. A total of 11 projects and two initiatives were filed with the Ministry, with a combined value of 545,000 million pesos.

These projects aim to improve wastewater plants, sewage networks and build new drinking water plants, among other initiatives. The work agenda began with a technical table in which departmental housing and water teams, mayors and congressmen participated. At this meeting, the priority needs of the 19 municipalities were presented, addressing issues such as the housing deficit, land titling and capacity in sewage networks.

Among the commitments acquired, the construction of a 36-inch conduction line to guarantee the supply of drinking water in Yopal, an indigenous housing project in Orocué for 100 families, and technical advice for the formulation of housing projects and land titling stands out. .

In a meeting with the inhabitants of the La Benddiciones sector, the legalization, titling and improvement of the Alameda Martha Mojica and La Bendiciones, as well as the construction of Torres del Silencio, were committed.

Governor Ortiz Zorro expressed his satisfaction with the Minister’s visit to the most vulnerable sectors of the municipality and highlighted the joint commitment to provide decent housing to families in the region.
