Tuesday’s meeting was a spontaneous matchup – a late season addition to the calendar to help both teams tune-up for their postseason matches later this week. It worked out well. Every match was competitive.

Girls: Chelan 3, Wenatchee 2

  • #2 Singles: Lauren Bixby (W) def Taylor Hatherell 6-4, 6-1
  • #1 Doubles: Ellie McLemore/Josie Garfoot (C) def Katelyn Murphy/Ava Kerr 5-7, 6-2, 10-8
  • #2 Doubles: Kenzie Murphy/Brynn Kaufman (W) def Alison Horner/Madeline Cowan 6-1, 6-2
  • #3 Doubles: Josie Bekel/Kyla Otom (C) def Taylor Finley/Lauren Black 4-6, 6-4, 13-11

The girls finish the regular season 9-6.

Boys: Wenatchee 3, Chelan 2

  • #1 Singles: Ben Bordon (W) def George Neff 6-7 (7-9), 6-3, 6-3
  • #2 Singles: Nathan Burns (W) def Caleb Sanderson 6-2, 6-4
  • #1 Doubles: Everett White/Hunter Biwer (W) def Ian Garfoot/Cray Silva 6-3, 6-3
  • #2 Doubles: Wade & Tristan Sanderson (C) def Austin Bromiley/Jacob McAllister 6-4, 6-3
  • #3 Doubles: Owen Sanderson/Angel Mendez (C) def Liam White/Chase Denning 6-3, 6-4

The boys finished 12-3 on the regular season.
