NOTIFIED AND RELEASED AFTER COMMITTING ALLEGED GROOMING – Neuquén Police

The Prosecutor’s Unit Specialized in Violence against Women, Diversities and Sexual Crimes notified and ordered the conditional release of a 28-year-old subject for allegedly committing Grooming. It happened yesterday (05/08), after a raid carried out in the La Sirena neighborhood by Police from the Sexual Crimes and Human Trafficking Division.

The investigations began after a judicial complaint that mentioned that a subject sent messages to a minor, some allegedly not suitable for his age.

For this reason, the Sexual Crimes and Human Trafficking Division, dependent on the Personal Security Department, intervened and carried out the corresponding tasks that led them to syndicate and register an address in the La Sirena neighborhood and with the intervention of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Unit in Violence against Women. Women, Diversities and Sexual Crimes carried out the judicial entry that allowed them to find a 28-year-old subject, and items such as computers, tablets and phones that were kidnapped.

As for the subject, finally, he was detained and then transferred to Police Headquarters where the intervening Prosecutor’s Office notified him of the judicial proceedings and was also notified of his conditional release.
