The families of the kidnapped indicated that “this is a light at the end of the tunnel since more than 15 days have passed and we are worried about the lives of our parents due to the clashes that are currently taking place in Cauca, that is why We implore the Colombian State to agree to this proposal as a sign of respect for the life and integrity of our parents.. “The lives of three human beings are worth more than a temporary pause in the armed conflict.”
The Central General Staff reported that “in the last two weeks those detained have been victims of military assaults and that thanks to the maneuver and expertise of the units that guard them, they have been removed alive from the places of confrontations; “They are in permanent movement between the municipalities of Cauca under our control.”
