Governor Rogelio Frigerio visited the Pedro Campbell Agent School in Villaguay this Wednesday. There he greeted the 388 candidates who will be the first to be one hundred percent in the territory and announced the creation of the Administrative Career in the Entre Ríos police force.

“In a very short time they will be part and will have the pride of belonging to the best Police in Argentina. Honor that possibility that you have to be part of this force,” said the president when addressing his words to the candidates. He was accompanied by the Minister of Security and Justice, Néstor Roncaglia.

He specified that it will be “the first group of our Police that begins its training knowing that its destiny is to be in the territory, it is to be on the street, it is to be in the field taking care of the peace and tranquility of our people.”

In this context, Frigerio referred to the specific training they receive within the Agent School and expressed: “They teach you how to handle weapons, they teach you how to defend the lives of citizens. Society also invests resources in this training and they cannot later end up in an administrative position,” he said and then announced the creation of the Administrative Career within the police force in the province.

“From today onwards, from common sense, those who prepare for a certain action later have to carry out that work once their training is finished and, of course, those who are going to prepare for the administrative task are going to be in charge precisely of those issues,” indicated the president when referring to what it will be like after the implementation of the new career in the force.

“We need our Police, that the Entre Ríos Police, which gives us so much pride, are on the streets taking care of the neighbors; that we recover a heritage of the people of Entre Ríos, which is peace. Knowing that we can sleep peacefully and that our most precious issues, such as the lives of our loved ones, and our assets are also well cared for by this force,” the governor said to end his speech.

For his part, the Minister of Security and Justice, Néstor Roncaglia, expressed his pride that “part of our youth enters our academies” and valued the decision of the applicants, because “this vocation that you are impregnating is a great commitment every day.” every day to provide such a valuable service to society, which is citizen security.”

Next paragraph, he invited them to continue on that path, to cultivate and prepare themselves. “We want them to be empathetic, supportive, good, professional and prepared to fight crime every day. We want them brave, respectful of the laws, of the codes, of our Constitution of the province and always at the side, and on the side of the citizens,” he expressed.

They were also accompanied by the chief of the Entre Ríos Police, Claudio González; the director of Police Institutes of the province, María de los Ángeles Facciano; and the mayor of Villaguay, Adrián Fuertes.
