The Rosario councilor maintained that “since its beginnings in our province, the members of the party founded by Mauricio Macri did not have the opportunity to elect our leaders. Therefore, it is necessary for the institutional of the PRO that internal elections be held aimed at legitimizing the party leadership in the coming years.”

Regarding the rumors of an eventual low participation of the members in said internal, the Macrista councilor clarified that “it is the fear of the current leadership, since, if so, the poor management of its president would be evident. As an example, he has not managed to establish the Provincial Assembly, which is neither more nor less than the mother body that decides, among other things, the electoral alliances and the territorial organization of its leaders.

For Blanco, “politics is the democratic tool par excellence and if in these latitudes it has not managed to give its inhabitants a sustained path of well-being, it is only the responsibility of its leaders and their low or no intellectual honesty.”

“For this reason,” he added, “we greatly appreciate that Gisela Scaglia, in addition to assuming the gigantic responsibility of being vice-governor of the province, is willing to legitimize her political and party role, without fear of her personal fate and granting the necessary guarantees so that any member It can be an alternative when choosing,” the Rosario PRO representative explained.

Blanco has decided, along with other members of the PRO, to participate in the next internal elections and hopes, in his own words, that its current leaders “rise to the occasion, allow free choice and put the members for consideration. validation of their own credentials.”

In addition, he stated that he hopes that the affiliation records that were certified two years ago and that were prevented from entering the Electoral Court due to an unjustified decision by the current president of the Santa Fe PRO will be taken as valid and included in the electoral roll of the next internal elections. .

Finally, the Rosario councilor expressed: “We have our own legislative and territorial development and we want to make it count. We will present the 18 regular members, their six substitutes and the Departmental Action and Participation Centers that are within our reach and that allow us to return to the path of good democratic practices that our members deserve.”
