The manager of IBAL, Érika Palmaconfirmed that after the suspension of the Combeima intake due to a sudden flood and dragging material into the basin, The catchment was restored and the reestablishment of water service began.

“We inform users that thanks to the work of our ‘IBALContigo’ crews, we managed to capture water from the river again and began the necessary compensation activities to deliver the service to the Ibaguerians,” Palma mentioned.

And he added that the Musical Capital remains on Orange alert, which was decreed by Mayor Johana Aranda in an extraordinary risk management council, due to heavy rains and landslides in different parts of the city.
