Taking into account the announcement issued by the SMN, the areas affected by the strong wind alert are: Cochinoca Mountain Range – Rinconada Mountain Range – Santa Catalina Mountain Range – Susques Mountain Range and Puna.

For these points in the province of Jujuy, northwest winds are expected with speeds between 50 and 70 km/h with gusts that can reach 100 km/h, especially in high mountain ranges.

As indicated, these conditions They would begin to develop this Thursday afternoon and could continue during the course of Friday, May 17.
