Military rescues a cyclist who fell into an abyss by improvising a rope with the shirts of their uniforms

According to the military institution, a group of uniformed soldiers assigned to the Jungle Brigade No. 27 were on a day of pilgrimage in the place known as Filo de Hambre, in the Mocoa leaks.

The uniformed men used their ingenuity and tactical skills, and thus, They improvised a rope with their uniform shirtssecuring the injured cyclist with a severe contusion to the head.

The task of getting him to safety was not easy, it took approximately an hour to get him out of the place.

Once Buenaventura was safe, an ambulance was requested to transport him to the nearest health center, where he received the necessary care.

The uniformed officers went to visit him to ensure that he was in the company of his family while he recovered. The lord, for his part, in an act of deep gratitude, considers the soldiers as true angels who saved his life.

“There are always angels that protect and care for me. I am very grateful to the soldiers, who recovered me and took me out alive, they did everything possible with their shirts and in a human chain to get me out of that place“said Fredy Buenaventura.
