The Empanada and Entrepreneurship Festival returns to Neiva

The Empanada and Entrepreneurship Festival returns to the city of Neiva, which will take place from June 6 to 8 in Santander Park. This event, which reaches its fourth edition, has become a long-awaited tradition for the Neiva community, and this year brings important new features.

The festival not only celebrates the rich culinary tradition of empanadas, but will now feature various entrepreneurial sectors, boosting the local economy at a critical time for the region and the country. With national economic growth of just 0.7%, it is essential to look for alternatives that promote economic reactivation. This event provides entrepreneurs with a platform to make their businesses visible, improve their sales and grow their ventures, benefiting the local and regional economy, and offering a space to share with the family.

A festival with sustainability

This year, the festival will have an important innovation: The energy used will be generated through solar panels, thanks to the collaboration of a company specialized in this technology. This initiative not only highlights the commitment to the energy transition and clean energy, but also seeks to reduce electricity costs, a crucial benefit for the community in these times of high electricity prices. This shows that clean energy contributes to economic development.

The festival will maintain its policy of free participation for entrepreneurs and zero entry cost for the public, ensuring that 100% of sales go directly to the entrepreneurs. This model has been possible thanks to the leadership of Jorge Andrés Géchem and the coordination with businessmen committed to the local economy, without resorting to public resources.

With approximately 90 entrepreneurs participating this year, the Empanada and Entrepreneurship Festival promises to be more inclusive and diverse, offering a wide range of products and services. The continuity and growth of this festival is a source of pride for Neiva, making entrepreneurs visible and consolidating itself as an engine of economic and social development for the city.

Jorge Andrés Géchem invites all residents of Neiva to attend Santander Park from June 6 to 8 to enjoy the festival, the best empanadas, learn about new ventures and be part of an event that not only celebrates our culture, but also promotes sustainable economic reactivation in Neiva.
