The governor of the province of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, was in the city of Coronda for the fourth time since he became president, and in this case he did so with a visit to the Lions Club.

This Sunday a mate bingo was being held to benefit the Cetradi Work Center for the Disabled, which is carrying out a great task with a hydroponics project together with the Lions Club and since the mid-80s it has been an institution that houses adults. with special abilities.

The visit was to make a personal contribution of 12 million pesos for the repair work on the ceilings of the large hall located in Güemes at 1500 Coronda, and sign the respective agreement. In this case, the work will consist of repairing the ceiling and ceilings located above the bathrooms and changing rooms of that historic hall of the city.

The large hall was home to the Physical Education Center from the 70s to the 90s, where hundreds of students from the city’s primary schools went to receive Physical Education and play in tournaments.

Later it was used for all types of public and private parties and shows, it was also essential as a shelter for those flooded and self-evacuated in 2007 and on every occasion where neighbors had to be rescued due to flooding due to rain and during the Covid pandemic, it was the place chosen as the positive isolation sector.

The Lions Club was founded in 1957 and is considered one of the most important institutions in the city.

Governor Pullaro signed, together with the Municipal Mayor Ricardo Ramírez and the Minister of Equality and Human Development Victoria Tejeda, the agreement, together with the Provincial Senator for San Jerónimo Dr. Leonardo Diana and members of the Municipal Executive.
