The new route that connects Santa Cruz with Cochabamba is open. This is confirmed by the same carriers that make the journey from Montero to Portachuelo, where There was precisely a blockade carried out by union members.

Although at the beginning of the day there were three blocking points on the route to the integrated north, two were lifted before noon. The one installed at kilometer 17 and the one in Warnes. Only the one on the La Amistad bridge remained, which was only suspended around 6:00 p.m.

It is unknown whether there was any agreement with the Government, but the important route is passable. Thousands of vehicles circulate on the road this Monday night.

This pressure measure was carried out by unions, who demand urgent solutions from the national government to the shortage of dollars, the repeal of Supreme Decree 4732 and the withdrawal of bill 145.

Decree 4732 regulates the sale and pre-sale of real estate, while bill 145 empowers National Customs to enter homes to seize contraband products.

René Flores, executive of the Federation of Self-Employed Unions, early expressed his rejection of electronic billing. “No “We are against paying taxes, but there are no conditions”stated the leader.
