A dinner to raise funds for the Bocuse d’Or Colombia

On June 12 and 13, in New Orleans, USA, the Bocuse d’Or Americas competition will be held in which Chefs from across the continent will compete for a spot at the 2025 world final in Lyon.

With a view to this competition, Bocuse d’Or Colombia prepared a special dinner for eight hands to raise funds to support the national team and prepare even more for what is to come.

Dinner is provided by Diego Torres, sous chef at Hilton Bogotá and winner of the Bocuse d’Or Colombia, who will represent the country in New Orleans, Carlos Pájaro, who has represented the country twice in international competition; Andrés Fernandes, chef of Cascajal; and Adrián Gerbolés, executive chef of Hilton Bogotá.

To support chef Torresthe Hilton Hotel on 72 will host this dinner which will take place on Wednesday, May 22 at 7:00 pm

“The event promises to be a first-class gastronomic experience, “composed of six steps paired with wine and spirits, prepared in collaboration with renowned chefs.”

Some of the dishes to taste are roasted palm hearts with mushrooms, catch of the day with tree tomatoes and Creole potatoes, lightly smoked beef cut, stewed root vegetables and carrots in textures, among others.

The value of the dinner per person is $280,000, which will contribute to Chef Torres’ participation in the Americas competition.

The Bocuse d’Or is known as the Olympics of gastronomy which, like any sporting competition, prepares an exhaustive qualifying process for the best to compete against each other.
