With the aim of improving mobility in various areas of Bucaramanga
The municipal mayor’s office decreed a new schedule so that trucks can load and unload merchandise in different areas of the city. in which the community had complained about the disorder that some freight transport companies were causing.

In this sense, the new measures will begin in the center of the capital of Santander, which ended up being one of the critical places in this type of situations that affect the mobility of citizens.

“In the central plan it is evident that one of the main problems that this decree seeks to solve is the practice of cargo trucks that park anywhere.rya any time of the day to carry out loading and unloading activities,” said the mayor of Bucaramanga Jaime Andrés Beltrán.

Carlos Bueno, detailed the specifications of the decree: “We have some hours of restriction in which loading and unloading will not be possible throughout the city, concentrating mainly on the Central Plan. These hours are from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; to be able to carry out the loading and unloading maneuver.”

To process the document that enables them to carry out these activities during the permitted hours, According to the new regulation, drivers and freight transport companies must approach the Transit Directorate.

“In addition, recommendations are established on the routes they should take to avoid congestion on the city’s roads, during peak hours and during off-peak hours. With this decree we are initially putting order in this important area of ​​the city, although the decree applies to the municipality, and thus all actors have the commitment and their shirts on so that Bucaramanga can move forward.
