Exhibition was carried out by regional director of Serviu and seremi (s) of Housing. It was resolved to create working groups on industrialized projects and technical assistance.

The regional director of Serviu Valparaíso, Rodrigo Uribe, together with the seremi(s) of Housing and Urban Planning, Nerina Paz, presented details of the Reconstruction Plan to professionals and member companies of the Chilean Chamber of Construction Valparaíso, within the framework of a expanded meeting of the Housing Committee of said trade association.

With the affected families at the center of the efforts and in the company of the person in charge of the Minvu Reconstruction and Disaster Commission, Soledad Monsalve, they provided details of the bidding modalities and contracts, decrees, subsidies, amounts, requirements and technical details of the processes that this portfolio has implemented and will continue to implement in the areas affected by the megafire that devastated important sectors of Viña del Mar, Quilpué and Villa Alemana last February.

On the occasion, the speakers clarified the doubts of the members present at the meeting, which was headed by the national vice president of the CChC, Jaqueline Gálvez, and by the regional vice president of the CChC and president of the Housing Committee of the CChC Valparaíso, Andrés Polanco. .

WORK TABLES

The regional director of Serviu Valparaíso valued the meeting and expressed confidence in rapid and expeditious progress in the processes, through special joint work instances that were decided to be created, such as two working groups on industrialized projects and technical assistance.

“We are very satisfied. It was a fluid meeting where we answered questions and spoke frankly regarding the reconstruction projects that we have to carry out. In this regard, it is vital for us that the Regional Chamber can be massively involved in the field of advice, technical assistance and construction, of course. We were talking about that, specifying the distribution of the different modalities that we have in the territory. And we have found a very good reception to continue working on a technical table and develop this together with the Chamber,” he commented.

Regarding the type of housing and projects, the regional director of Serviu particularly highlighted the efforts made to promote industrialization. “We are also interested in the fact that the industrialized modality, which has shorter and more limited times, can also be part of the alternatives that we can visualize in the territory of Quilpué, Viña del Mar and Villa Alemana, for those families that have opted for that modality. ”.

PUBLIC-PRIVATE COLLABORATION

Andrés Polanco, meanwhile, especially valued the meeting and being able to offer certainties to the union and businessmen interested in participating in the reconstruction process.

“It was a positive meeting within the framework of the public-private collaboration that characterizes the work of the regional Chamber and, especially, the Housing Committee, in which we were able to have direct contact between partners, regional authorities and union leaders, about the implementation and concreteness of the Reconstruction Plan and the steps that are coming,” he commented.

“We also saw financing mechanisms and alternatives and the deadlines contemplated for the implementation of the plan and each of these lines. It was a positive meeting because it allowed us to clear up doubts, verify progress in the process and also generate opportunities for joint work and projects of our partners who participate in the different lines of the housing subsidy programs,” added Andrés Polanco.

For her part, the CChC national vice president, Jacqueline Gálvez, also valued the meeting of the public world with the private world. “I want to highlight that all these efforts are carried out with the families in our minds and hearts, who are waiting for their homes. We are happy because in this meeting we were able to resolve doubts, but we also ended with the creation of two working groups that allow us to specify what was agreed and advance in the reconstruction (…) As a union we are grateful for the good disposition and the public-private work that “It is carried out in the region, like the one promoted by the regional director of Serviu and his entire team.”
