Parity advances in provinces to avoid Misiones effect: Tucumán closed with teachers

With one eye on the escalation of the salary conflict in Misiones, the governors accelerate joint negotiations with the different unions to avoid a contagion effect in their districts.

With that framework, the president of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldoannounced today the closing of salary negotiations with the provincial state unions, while continuing the dialogue in districts such as Santa Fe or Salta. The Tucumán case appears as a witness case, since, like missionary Hugo Passalaqua (Renewal Front of Concord)Jaldo aligned himself with the Government despite the national chainsaw.

“Today we have concluded the joint negotiations and I only have words of gratitude for all the general secretaries who represent the different unions of provincial, national and communal public employees,” said Jaldo.

In the last days, Tucuman signed agreements with the unions of central administration workers, teachers, health subsidy, roads, housing, water service, Tucumán police and health. “We have been talking with all sectors for two weeks. We have had to meet with some again because this is a Government that listens, that respects the time of the unions and we give them the time necessary to speak with their bases,” he expressed.

The president, who broke with Union for the Homeland to approach the Casa Rosada shortly after taking office Javier Mileialso mentioned that these salary negotiations will continue in August, and Jaldo was enthusiastic about the approval for that date of the Bases Law and the fiscal relief package that drives the national government. “In the fiscal pact we have the income tax, the money laundering, the moratorium, which are co-shareable resources and that Tucumán will receive a separate fee. This will allow us to be financially better positioned to once again meet the needs of the public sector,” he explained.

After some closures like those of Buenos Aires and Mendozathere are expectations for open dialogue in Santa Fe and Salta, with special attention to the crisis in Misiones.
