A safety tip. Among the agenda of the president in Cauca, a security council is planned for this Friday. This is expected to take place in Popayán, the capital of Cauca, where members of the Regional Indigenous Council of this department also hope to meet with the president.

Attack on Morales. This Monday, two uniformed officers and two civilians were killed after an attack by FARC dissidents on the prison of this municipality. The advance included explosives and, since then, several towns in the region have been at risk.

The Ombudsman’s Office even issued a risk alert in Corinto, Caloto, Toribío, Suárez, Buenos Aires, Caldono, Jambaló, Puerto Tejada, Padilla and Villarrica.
