Children, Girls and adolescents benefit from the execution of this initiative.

Tunja, May 23, 2024. (UACP). In the municipalities of Páez and Miraflores, the manager of Indeportes Boyacá, Fredy Holguín, accompanied the implementation of the Complementary School Sports Days Program of the Ministry of Sports, an initiative that is developed through the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC) in different provinces of the department.

This program, which benefits children and adolescents, gave all beneficiaries a sports equipment kit. These are elements that encourage the population to attend school.

“We are very happy to see the motivation and enthusiasm of our children, parents and teaching staff. There is a great need for these activities to be permanent and maintained in these cycles, since they are important for the motor and social development of all our children,” commented Fredy Holguín, manager of Indeportes Boyacá.

For Indeportes Boyacá it is gratifying to note the satisfaction that persists in educational institutions with the execution of these government programs.

“We hope that this initiative continues, due to the positive impact it generates in the municipalities and their inhabitants,” Holguín stressed.
