Experiences

The singer began his musical studies at the age of eight, so from a very young age he has been linked to the cultural activity of both Paraná and his entire province. He also performed in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Russia, as a musician, singer, vocal technician, and choir and orchestra director, since he is a teacher of Musical Education, transverse flute and lyrical singing. Creator and Coordinator of the Paraná Opera Studio, he directs the group Son della Rue and has received the 2019 Piedmontese National Award, from the Federation of Piedmontese Associations of Argentina. He was a finalist in the international competition “Road to Yalta” (2021) held in Russia.

“From a very young age I was interested in Italian music. At the age of 14 I joined the Verdiana Association Choir, where obviously his repertoire was operatic; For that reason and since then I identified and became interested in Italian opera, and I grew up singing the choruses of the most famous compositions such as ‘La Traviata’, ‘Aida’, ‘Il Trovatore’ and ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’, among many others.” , he states in dialogue with LA GACETA.

From that beginning, he became more immersed in the music of Piemonte. “A few years ago, invited by the Piemontese Family of Paraná, I had the opportunity to form and direct the Institution’s Choir. The idea was to rescue the regional culture through the songs of the Italian popular repertoire and basically the representative songs of that area, so I got closer not only to the repertoire, but to the culture in general and that allowed me to connect with each one of the songs and stories we performed,” he describes.

From his training in operatic technique and arias, he then began to connect with the lyrical pop repertoire. “It is a musical genre that the first person in charge of spreading it was Luciano Pavarotti next to Placido Domingo and Jose Carrerasfollowed later by Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, and the Il Divo and Il Volo formations. Since then I have been dedicated to interpreting this repertoire, and that is why I have selected for this occasion compositions that have this style of romantic music. The idea of interpreting them is to transmit a message of love, peace and hope,” he concludes.
