This Saturday the 214th anniversary of the May Revolution is celebrated and, in the anteroom, the Bicentennial Theater offers a new edition of the traditional Gala Patria.

The iconic play by Ariel Ramírez and Félix Luna, “Mujeres Argentinas” will come to life on the main stage of the TB, in a striking, unpublished and comprehensive production by the Teatro del Bicentenario. The artistic display, under the artistic and choreographic direction of Alexis Miranda, and the scenic direction of Sergio Manganelli, features the musical performance of the orchestra of the Ministry of Culture, our “Camerata San Juan”, directed by Mtro. Pablo Grossman, with original arrangements created by Enzo Pérez, the voices of Eli Domínguez and Melisa Quiroga, and a concerted cast of talented dancers under the meticulous gaze of Victoria Balanza, along with a great team of scenic professionals.

The original staging of the TB invites the public to immerse themselves in a sound and visual landscape, at times bucolic, at times nostalgic, that is subtly linked and amalgamated with dance, offering a fresh and multisensory experience that highlights the legacy artistic by Ramírez.

The evening will culminate with the verses of the Argentine National Anthem, performed in the voice of Laura Constanza.
