Coquimbo Unidos showed that they want to continue fighting at the top of the table and beat Unión La Calera in the last minutes of the match. The Pirate team won 2-1, was one point behind Universidad de Chile in the table and has one game less than the rest of the teams that are fighting for the first places

The match at Nelson Oyarzún had a frenetic start. Coquimbo Kingdom quickly took the lead thanks to a great finish from Nicolás Johansen, who scored 1-0 when there were barely nine minutes into the game.

The Caleranos, far from being intimidated, began to press immediately and found equality via Ezequiel Parnisari (17′).

From then on, football went into a swamp and arrivals to the goals were scarce. The Cementeros had more of the ball, but with little aim in front of the rival goal.

The final whistle was about to blow when Andrés Chávez surprised the Unión La Calera defense to beat goalkeeper Matías Ibañez and rescue a victory that put the National Championship in red hot.

Coquimbo Unidos reached 27 points and is just one unit behind Universidad de Chile in the standings, while Unión La Calera is struggling and sinks to the bottom of the table with eight points.
