Governor Maximiliano Pullaro led this Friday night the beginning of the celebrations for the 214th anniversary of the May Revolution at the 1º de Mayo Municipal Theater.

There, before a packed main hall, the Santa Fe Provincial Symphony Orchestra starred in the traditional Gala Evening.

With the direction of Mr. Silvio Viegas and the special participation of guitarist Juan Francisco Almada, the agency dependent on the Ministry of Culture performed the “Argentine National Anthem” and works by composers such as Ignacio Freijo, Alberto Williams, Ramiro Gallo and Joaquín Rodrigo. For the occasion, the Argentine guitarist Juan Francisco Almada was a guest.

It should be noted that in the Municipal Theater, together with the Governor, Mayor Juan Pablo Poletti was present; the provincial ministers Susana Rueda, Fabian Bastia, Pablo Olivares, Pablo Cococcioni and Gustavo Puccini; the president of the Municipal Council, Chuchi Molina; Deputy José Corral; among other local and provincial authorities.

The activities will continue this Saturday starting at 9:30 in the White Room of the Government House, with the protocol greetings of the Governor with authorities and representatives of different entities. Then it is scheduled that at 10:15 the delegation will move to the Plaza 25 de Mayo in the city of Santa Fe.

The activities will begin with the performance of the Cayastá Folkloric Group, and then proceed to the raising of the Flag and the National Anthem by the authorities.

At 10:30, the Te Deum will take place in the Metropolitan Cathedral; and at the end, at approximately 11 o’clock, the central event led by Pullaro will take place and, at the end, the civil-military parade will take place.
