Elements of the Investigative Police (PDI) recovered five vehicles that were circulating in the capital of Potosí with the altered series and reports of theft.

First, on Benito Juárez and Gálvez avenues, PDI agents had contact with a Ford Focus-type car, which was searched, revealing that it was stolen in Texas, United States.

Subsequently, in a shopping center in the El Paseo subdivision, a 2023 model Chevrolet truck was seized, which when inspected by the investigating police, registered a serial number that was apocryphal and upon establishing the original, it was learned that the car was stolen in Guanajuato.

Likewise, the operational elements recovered a Mazda brand sedan car on the streets of the Popular neighborhood, which had been wanted in Mexico City since October 29, 2023.

Similarly, in the Torremolinos neighborhood, a Volkswagen brand Bora-type vehicle was located, related to an investigation folder requested by the owner for robbery with violence.

Finally, in a shopping center on Salvador Nava Avenue, a 2022 model Groove-type vehicle was checked and it was determined that its identification series was altered; Furthermore, he did not have license plates and instead had a vehicle permit corresponding to a different car.

All units were made available to the Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP) where a Fiscal agent will promptly follow up on each matter, so that they are returned to their legal owner.
