A series of training meetings were held within the framework of the Transforming Schools Network program. More than 100 rectors and vice-rectors from the Paraná coast were trained to reinforce strategic management and pedagogical leadership skills.

The General Council of Education (CGE), in alliance with the Banco Entre Ríos and Grupo Petersen foundations, carries out this program with the objective of strengthening and promoting quality and educational innovation at the secondary level in Entre Ríos.

“These trainings are very important to strengthen the role of the leadership teams, enhancing skills and competencies for the transformation and innovation of secondary schools. This effort would not be possible without the joint work and support of the foundations and companies that accompany us in this initiative, as well as the commitment of all those present who have traveled to train during these five days,” highlighted the president of the CGE, Alicia Fregonese, at the start of the match.

The training for managers was carried out in person from Monday to Friday, both in the morning and in the afternoon, at the Círculo de Paraná Hotel. They aim to strengthen the role of the manager as leader of the educational project, working in collaboration with teachers to promote innovative initiatives that improve learning processes. Each topic was led by experts in the field, and topics such as leadership with a focus on learning, emotion and learning, innovation pedagogies and management with data, among others, were explored.

“The training proposal included moments of reflection, exchange of experiences, individual and group work, as well as academic and recreational activities and even a musical exhibition to promote active learning,” stressed the secondary level director of the CGE, Omar Osuna.

The general coordinator of the Petersen Group Foundations, Cecilia Hancevic, stated: “We are happy to accompany the General Council of Education of the province in this initiative and mainly the directors who are working on the transformation of their secondary schools. Focusing on what our educators need is the path to student growth.”

In turn, the executive secretary of Fundación Banco Entre Ríos, Nicolás Cabrol, said: “We know that this program will enhance the development of meaningful learning in students. We believe in school as the place where our young people have the opportunity to grow, and that is why we continue working to provide opportunities and tools to strengthen our institutions.”

“I highlight the practicality of the experience. It is so real that it places us in the experience of the school itself, knowing the problems and positive experiences of our colleagues can strengthen us and find solutions for what we are going through within the institution,” remarked the principal of Secondary School N. Number 7 of the city of Feliciano, Analía Burns.

The initiative also has the key support of strategic partners such as Molinos San José, Fundación Petropack, La Agrícola Regional (LAR), Matic Soluciones Educativas and Laboratorios Lafedar.
