The Invías and Findeter announced the opening of calls for work and audit of two large road projects on the Coast, specifically in the department of Magdalena and the region of La Mojana, of the order of $381,343 million, announced the president of the FinancieraJuan Carlos Muñiz.

Inside the package there is also the Coffee Axisin which they will be invested $236,083 million.

The first of the projects corresponds to the road corridor Plate – Tenerife – Pedraza – Salamina – Guaimaro – Palermo in Magdalena, with which Invías seeks to provide better infrastructure to the department to strengthen its competitiveness, through the reduction of travel times that allow connecting production areas with consumption centers.

Muñiz highlighted that among the benefits are time savings and the possibility of vehicles with greater load capacity transiting will allow the agricultural, livestock, fishing and forestry industries to be more competitive.

In this work they will be invested 198,356 million pesos in its execution, and $22,040 million for the audit; The deadline for receiving proposals is until May 31, 2024.

The other project is the construction of the via El Cauchal – Sucre or Transversal de La Mojana, andn the department of Sucre, to benefit the municipalities of Sucre, Majagual and San Benito Abad, who belong to the region of La Mojana and San Jorge.

The investment is in the order of $144,852 million in the execution of the work and $16,095 million for the audit.

The presentation of offers can be made until May 31, 2024.

Muñiz explained that these works are part of the Invías program, ‘Vways to connect territories, sustainable growth and reactivation 2.0′which seeks to strengthen tertiary roads in 22 departments through the maintenance of 2,000 kilometers and the improvement of 750 kilometers that will allow better connectivity of the productive areas of the country, in addition, the improvement of 510 kilometers of the primary road network in 14 departments .

The third project, but in the Coffee Region, is the construction of the second road between Montenegro and Quimbaya, which includes property, social, environmental and sustainable management, and periodic maintenance of this road corridor, which is located in the Coffee Region and covers the northwestern part of Quindío and the north of Valle del Cauca.

In the construction project they will be invested $212,475 million and $23,608 million for the audit; Proposals can be submitted until May 31, 2024.
