This initiative is being worked together with the Care Center for Pregnant Adolescents and Mothers (CADEM) and allows participants to acquire basic knowledge of soil preparation, planting and growing different species of vegetables and aromatic herbs. Added to all this is the work done with indoor plants.

The project by the IAPL Family Area is carried out in the chapel of the Lavalle neighborhood, where the necessary tools and resources are provided while also having the support and intervention of INTA with training and delivery of seeds.

In the same way, we worked with the Ministry of Human Development, Sports and Culture, which through the Huertas Program contributed with the installation of a micro tunnel with capacity for 2 thousand seedlings.

Initiatives of this type are essential to continue providing knowledge and tools to promote the autonomy of the population with whom we work.

In this way and with the resources at their disposal, families can manage their own food, thus generating, as indicated, healthy lifestyle habits.

Those who want to join can do so at the Lavalle neighborhood chapel, located at 15 and 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
