The death of journalist Daniel Adolfo Badaracco, known as Nito, has had a profound impact on the Concordia community. The fatal accident occurred around 4:30 in the morning at the intersection of Avenida Presidente Illia and Alvear.

A remis that was circulating through Illia, from east to west, and when it reached the corner of Alvear, it braked for a well in the street and then turned, to make a U-turn or enter Alvear street. This unexpected movement turned fatal when Nito Badaracco, who was traveling behind the remis on his motorcycle, hit the left side of the car.

Adolfo Daniel Badaracco, “Nito”, was 50 years old. He was admitted to the hospital with ECT (Skull Trauma), with a sharp wound and loss of consciousness. He was placed on mechanical ventilation, but two hours later, after going into arrest, he died, as efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Badaracco is a surname identified with Concordia journalism and media. His father knew how to work in the newspaper El Heraldo. His children followed in his footsteps and also chose to work in the area of ​​communication.

In addition to visual evidence, a witness inside the car has provided an account that matches the security camera footage. This is a young man who was traveling as a passenger in the remis. He related that moments before the accident, he indicated to the driver that he had missed the street on which he should turn, suggesting that he turn onto Laprida. Upon realizing the mistake, the driver tried to correct his route in Alvear, making a sudden maneuver that culminated in the tragic crash.

The combination of security recordings and the passenger’s testimony could be decisive in clarifying the facts and carrying out the corresponding legal actions against the person responsible for the accident.
