With the Sendero del Frailejón route, the BiciBogotá Region circuit was inaugurated, an innovative tourism product that integrates Zipaquirá, Tocancipá, Gachancipá, Guatavita, Guasca, La Calera, Choachí, Ubaque, Chipaque, Soacha, Sibaté, Bojacá, Madrid, Tenjo and Tabio ; in addition to the Bogotá towns of Ciudad Bolívar and Usme.

“We invite Bogota and Cundinamarca residents to learn about this new way of tourism through bicycle, which forges a relationship of respect with nature, with beautiful landscapes and trails that take us to discover the gastronomic offer of the municipalities of Cundinamarca,” expressed the Secretary of Departmental Planning, Carolina Español.

Through the promotion of nature and adventure tourist destinations, an initiative included in its Regional Strategic Plan to 2030, the RAP-E Central Region harmonizes inter-institutional efforts to boost activities and opportunities for socioeconomic development in the Central Region.

Likewise, the Cundinamarca Development Plan ‘Governing, more than a Plan’, in its strategic line called ‘Green Wellbeing’, contemplates important bets on sustainable tourism that involve the care of water.
