Pereira, May 27, 2024. A day of work and sharing experiences was held at the Sports House of the Olympic Village of Pereira at the meeting of the delegations of Indervalle and the Secretariat of Sports, Recreation and Culture of Risaralda.

This meeting is part of the guidelines of Governor Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa, who recognizes sports as an essential pillar of his administration, and for this reason he has not only allocated more economic resources for Rizaldense athletes, but has also promoted comprehensive training, and these meetings are part of it, because experiences with departments like Valle del Cauca are fed back.

From 9:00 in the morning they met in the auditorium of the Risaralda institution to learn about all the institutional offerings offered by the Risaralda Government for its high-performance athletes, and for the community.

The Valle del Cauca delegation was made up of Faisury Dorado, deputy promotion manager of said institution, as well as methodologists, biomedicine and communications personnel, who were very attentive to the different exhibitions of the day.

“We did hard, hard work, regarding programs such as what methodologists do, nutrition, psychology, UCAD, recreation, sharing knowledge; “We know that Valle occupies first place in three national games and we hope to be able to make an agreement of wills to exchange knowledge between the two.”stated Luis Eduardo Duque Sanz, Secretary of Sports, Recreation and Culture of Risaralda.

After having had a morning sharing ideas and experiences of the different projects, the two delegations took a tour of settings such as the aquatic complex of the Olympic Village, the Hernán Ramírez Villegas stadium and the Metropolitan Coffee Park to observe the state of each one. from them.

“It was a very enriching day in sharing the experiences that each of the departmental entities have regarding sports, recreation, physical activity, which is comprehensive care for all citizens, allowing us to generate strategic alliances in terms “to be able to strengthen sport, and through it to be able to build those peace processes that our communities need so much,” concluded Faisury Dorado, deputy manager of Development of Indervalle.
