The Court’s decision came after a lawsuit over the election of the secretary. According to the order, the Departmental Assembly of Santander, at the time of electing the general secretary, contracted directly with the National Confederation of Assemblies and Deputies of Colombia (CONFADICOL), an entity that It is not qualified as an educational institution nor does it have high quality accreditation.
