Recently, the case of a couple who had been living together for 65 years became known and both died on the same day, at the same time, but in separate municipalities.

This story was initially shared by Jesús Ovidio Salazar, a journalist from the town of Currulao (Turbo – Antioquia) and later shared by the newspaper El Tiempo.

The story that Salazar revealed tells that Doña Georgina, 85, had traveled to Medellín for a medical appointment related to a hernia operation. However, everything got out of control, as doctors discovered that she was suffering from a serious infection that needed to be treated urgently, so she was transferred to Rionegro. being over there, Georgina suffered cardiorespiratory arrest, for which she was intubated and unfortunately died a few minutes after the intervention began.

As if they were connected to each other, at the same time that Georgina died, her husband Don ‘Nalo’ suffered a heart attack in Apartadó. According to the journalist, The man was rushed to the local hospital, where unfortunately he also died moments later.

It was also known that as a result of their love they had eight children, who were reunited in deep pain at having to say goodbye to both their parents at the same time. The bodies of Georgina and Don ‘Nalo’ met again on Sunday, May 26, for the wake and the funeral services, where family and friends gathered to say goodbye.
