The delegation of Caldas added her first medals in the national finals of the Intercollegiate Games that are disputed in Valledupar and Bogotá.

He did it with María Alejandra Santana and Alexándra Mejía, two athletes who now compete nationally with other departments. Caldas adds 2 golds, 5 silvers and 3 bronzes (see medals box).

The Caldas team participates with 81 athletes, 13 coaches, 2 physiotherapists, 2 heads of mission and 2 more as head of mission support. They do it in pre-youth indoor soccer, youth indoor soccer, athletics, chess, table tennis, swimming and racing skating.

The phase corresponds to last year’s Games, postponed due to delays in the Ministry of Sports calendar.

Caldas, last year, was fourth behind Antioquia, Valle del Cauca and Bogotá, with 20 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze.
