The blue dollar rose five pesos on the day and ended a streak of two losses. After the strong rise last week and the correction made especially on Friday, this Tuesday it found a floor and stabilized at 1,210 pesos for sale.

On the other hand, financial dollars erased this Monday’s rise. Although the market started the day with a good volume of supply, the market did not validate this Monday’s prices and closed the day with a drop of 27 pesos in the mep and 11 in the CCL. In this way, the mep ended the round at $1,200, losing Tuesday’s rise and the CCL at $1,233.75.

With a wholesale dollar that was unchanged this Tuesday, the exchange gaps were reduced to 34.4% for the mep and 38% for the CCL. On the other hand, in the chaos of the blue, the gap stretched to 35.4%.

The value of the bill in Banco Nación adjusted to $912.50 and in the average of the banks it is $933.12.

The Central Bank resumed daily purchases. This Tuesday it acquired US$56 million in a Market that operated a volume of US$252 million, which left access to importers for US$196 M. There is still little volume in the market awaiting the liquidation of the field.

With this Tuesday’s purchases, US$ 2,452 million have been purchased in May and since December 2023 it has totaled US$ 17,176 million. The Central’s gross reserves increased by 30 million dollars to end with the balance of US$29,186 million.
