The tourist Patagonian Train to Perito Moreno Station, starting June 1, resumes its departures from Bariloche, so you can enjoy unique Patagonian landscapes, regional flavors and live music and shows. It will leave on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00 p.m.

It’s about a 30 kilometer journey that lasts one hour. At a gentle pace that does not exceed 40 kilometers per hour, you arrive at the Station near the Laguna de los Juncos area, in a tourist service designed for about 106 passengers.

When you open the window curtains, a world of stunning landscapes of low hills, typical of the steppe, neneos and coirones and in front of the tracks, jumping and running quickly, the occasional hare that crosses between the railway tracks.

Upon arriving in Perito Moreno, passengers are welcomed at the station’s Tea House, to enjoy hot drinks (wine or chocolate), accompanied by delicious canapés, in an atmosphere of relaxation and good company.

When the reception ends, visitors are invited to enter the station’s Quincho, where they enjoy Patagonian cuisine, accompanied by live music, and the nocturnal beauty of our steppe.

In living room set with gaucho motifs, the menu is barbecue (empanadas, roast and grilled lamb, chorizos, blood sausage, achuras) accompanied by salads or French fries, bread, fried cakes, and a dessert. There are options for vegan, vegetarian and celiac passengers.

Tren Patagonico suggests that passengers request the taxi service from their trusted company before boarding the tourist service, since upon return at approximately 11:21 p.m., there are no taxis in the area of ​​the train station.

Passengers must appear at the Bariloche station at 5:30 p.m. to be able to board.. With the ticket issued, passengers will have access to the round trip train, to the welcome drink and canapés at the Perito Moreno Station and to the dinner in the barbecue.

Drinks are not included in the dinner, which must be paid for at the Perito Moreno Station Quincho.
